| Apie mane: | I was born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 21, 1987. I grew up in Middleburg and Jacksonville with my parents, Joe and Michele Greene and my older brother Joe.
From an early age I pursued a career in modeling where I enjoyed some success, modeling for campaigns such as "Stop Staring", "Feng Junk" and "Sutra". However after being told that I was too short to be a runway model Ashley turned my attention to acting and soon fell in love with it.
At just 17 I graduated high school a year early and moved to Los Angeles to pursue my career in acting. My first television part came in 2006 when I guest starred in "Crossing Jordan" in the role of Ann Rapport - I also landed minor roles in "Shark" and was a series regular on the short lived "Desire".
My first movie role came just a year later when I landed a small part in "King's of California".
In 2008 it was announced that I would take the role of Alice Cullen in the highly anticipated "Twilight". When the movie opened in the November of that year it grossed over $70 million on its opening weekend and thrust I and my fellow cast members into the lime light. My over night success brought my the opportunity of new and bigger roles.
2009 will see the release of a variety of new projects for Me including "Summer's Blood", a twisted horror story and "Warrior" in which me stars along side "Twilight" costar Kellan Lutz. "New Moon", the sequel to "Twilight" will also be released in 2009.
I'm is at the start of her very promising career and we can only expect bigger.
