| Apie mane: | I was born to sing although it took awhile before anyone noticed.I started modeling when I was four-years-old and was featured in print campaigns for major brands like K-Mart, American Girl and Mattel. At age 11, my friends dragged me to the auditions for their school’s Christmas play. We went for fun so I auditioned for one solo part and ended up getting two.My mom was shocked. She came to rehearsals and cried when she heard me.After performing in front of my whole school, I was hooked on the rush of being on stage. To be honest, I always loved to sing, I was just too shy to sing anywhere other than in the shower!
Her first professional engagement was performing at the White House for the Obama family at the White House Easter Egg Roll.
My first single, “Armageddon,” is an infectious dance track that’ll make you want to go wild.It’s all about that one guy every girl dates that she needs to just cut off but just can’t bring herself to do it. I can’t date until I’m 16 but I still like boys and have watched my friends go through break-ups so I used that as inspiration.
Most of the songs are very personal. The catchy “Barefoot” describes the two worlds that I live in. At school, I don’t talk about my music career and I’m the girl that everyone comes to when they want a laugh. But when I’m home, I take everything off, put on sweats and can just really be myself.
